Description
The National Land Registry Agency is a public administrative establishment created by executive decree no. 234-89 of December 19, 1989.
Main Mission:
Establishment of the General Land Registry throughout the national territory.
Secondary Mission:
Topography, delimitation and boundary work on behalf of services, communities and public organizations.
In terms of establishing the general land register, the ANC is responsible for:
- Carry out the land survey work of delimitation and topography using terrestrial or photogrammetric methods necessary for the preparation of the general cadastre.
- Prepare the acts and files relating to the work of the cadastral boundary commissions provided for in the framework of the regulations governing the procedure for establishing the general cadastre.
- Proceed with the drafting of cadastral plans and related documents and their updating.
- Implement operations to reconcile the cadastre with the land register kept by the land authorities.
- Organize the archiving, consultation and dissemination of cadastral documentation by computer means and ensure its regular updating
- Carry out control of the work of private surveyors and topographical design offices, carried out on behalf of public administrations.
- Carry out a general inventory of the given assets of real estate in the national domain.
- Organize the collection and processing of data allowing the creation of a general inventory.
- Develop modern procedures and systems for the management and regular updating of this inventory.
- Produce statistical reports at an appropriate frequency
reflecting the consistency and evolution of real estate assets.
- The ANC is responsible for developing design and study means to master the techniques related to its subject and can carry out any study or research related to its areas of activity.
