Description
It is a large tree, with a smooth trunk whose bark is easily detached. Belongs to the Myrtaceae family, also called fever tree, globular eucalyptus, blue gum tree.
This medicinal plant can be used in various ways, including in the form of: infusion, fumigation, liquid extract, cigarette, tincture, powder, essence. In the past, this tree was cultivated in regions where malaria was rife because it was believed to have the power to overcome fevers. It is widely used today in pharmacy and in the manufacture of liqueurs.
