Description
halhal is a bushy subshrub, 30 to 60 cm high, with quadrangular stems whose rolled edges are reminiscent of those of rosemary.
Its terminal spike inflorescence, compact and square, is topped with large purple bracts.
It offers very aromatic bouquets from the month of February.
It is widespread on the coast and in the Tell.
If stchad lavender is popular for its culinary use, it stands out above all as an antiseptic with the same properties as lavender.
It is bactericidal, tonic, antispasmodic, stimulating, sudorific, stomachic and diuretic.
The flower infusion is sought after for the treatment of respiratory tract conditions, stomach aches and migraines.
In external care, it can be used for wounds and burns.
