Tuberose Polyanthes tuberosa
From the amaryllidaceae family, Polyanthes tuberosa, commonly called tuberose, is native to Mexico. It flowers in white spikes from early summer until fall.
Tuberose is cultivated both for bouquet flowers and for the extraction by distillation of tuberose essence used in perfumery.
Its plantation extends over an area of ​​5 ha in the daïra of Blida.
It is transformed at the Chiffa factory.
